Thank you for making Northwest Fiddle Fest 2011 an amazing camp, we hope to see you again soon.

Northwest FiddleFest is a fun-filled and family-friendly music camp being held July 4-8, 2011, in the beautiful Bulkley Valley near the "real mountain town" of Smithers, BC.

While fiddle is the focus, the camp also offers instruction in mandolin, guitar, piano and stand-up bass, for a range of ages and abilities.

Hosted by the Valley Youth Fiddlers and their musical friends, Northwest FiddleFest features some of Canada's top instructors including Gordon Stobbe and Anne Lindsay.

The camp is based at Banner Mountain Lodge, 20 minutes north of Smithers, in a rural setting surrounded by northern forest, clear skies, and a ring of snow-capped mountains.

FiddleFest features:

• Four full days of top-notch instruction, jamming and activity
• A variety of on-site accommodation options from a rustic lodge, to motorhome parking, to tent camp sites
• A lunch program
• Evening jams, campfires and activities
• Leisure activities ranging from guided hikes to art workshops

Much of the fun and learning that makes a music camp so memorable happens in the evenings, so plan on staying on-site!
